He also sent out from himself a dove, to see if the waters had receded from the face of the ground.
Genesis 8:8 NKJV
Greetings friends,
Have you ever felt restless, unsettled, uncomfortable, unspiritual in the compass of where you are in your life? I sure have, but as is true to the loving, merciful nature of God Almighty, in the name of His Son, our Saviour Yeshua Messiah-Jesus Christ, is His patience while we move about, back and forth through life attempting to find our feet. Let's remember to always return to the loving arms of God Almighty. Liken to the dove in Genesis 8, as you read on, you'll see the relationship of trust between Noah and the dove... the dove knew that the safe, settling place, while finding a place to settle, was with the one who sheltered her through the flood...
But the dove found no resting place for the sole of her foot, and she returned into the ark to him, for the waters were on the face of the whole earth. So he put out his hand and took her, and drew her into the ark to himself. And he waited yet another seven days, and again he sent the dove out from the ark. Then the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, a freshly plucked olive leaf was in her mouth; and Noah knew that the waters had receded from the earth. So he waited yet another seven days and sent out the dove, which did not return again to him anymore.
